---KaYdEn'S BiRtHdAy WeEkEnD---

April 28th is one of my favorite days because it is the day one of my favorite people in the whole world Kayden Leo Stebar was born. This weekend Rusty and Brittany came up from Cedar to celebrate this special day.

Saturday morning Brittany and I got up early and headed to Salt Lake Temple, it was Brittany's first time going to a live session. ( A live session is when the temple ordinances and promises you make with God are acted out by people instead of watching a movie) The session was huge and so it took a little long than we thought.

Once we got home it was time to start Kayden's birthday cake. Brittany had already designed the cake and made all the fondant so we just had to put it all together... If only it was that easy, we had a hard time getting the fondant to not crack, but thank heavens for google and vegetable oil because it turned out beautifully.

We had Brittany's family, the Whitear family, and then the Erickson's came too. It was a lot of fun the kids all had bandanas and guns and we got to play with the horses too. We got to all just visit, eat, and open presents. Kayden really enjoyed it.

To end this marvelous day Shae and Kayden had a sleepover in my bed... BAD IDEA!! But worth the memories for sure.

Snow day!! Kayden and I made snowmen and snow-angles. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon. We tried to do a little family of snowmen lol :D but it didn't really work. We had a lot of fun. Kayden is one of the biggest blessing in my life. He is the best nephew we always have so much with whatever we do. He is so funny and sweet.  Very very grateful for this little man in my life!!!!

{N}FR 2011

I was able to go to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas!!! I flew down Friday night and had the time of my life. The NFR is my new yearly vacation. It was nice to be able to spend time with my parents and see all my friends I use to rodeo with!

Sandi and I, all ready to do some serious shopping at Cowboy Christmas

We had the cutest bell hop in Vegas

I loved the blue, brown and red pair. Next year they are coming home with me :D

The famous statue of Red Rock (the bull in 8 Seconds) I had to get a picture by him.

I made Sandi take one too... She doesn't look it but she had surgery only three weeks ago!!!

My favorite halter!! I have an addiction with turquoise.

Inside a horse trailer, at Cowboy Christmas. This is close to what mine will look like.

Round 10!! Saturday Night.

I was having the best time!

All the contests at the beginning of the rodeo

We had so much fun!

The flag girls

A bull that was on display

During the bull riding Shane Proctor got stomped on. It was very special because the announcer asked everyone to bow their heads and say a prayer for him. I am sure their was a lot of different people that have different faiths but seeing everyone bow their heads in prayer was very special.

This was 1 of 15 I swear, Sandi struggles with taking our own pictures lol

So I took over the camera and looky there on the first try a great pic.

My first and last time in Mesquite. We stayed her Saturday Night.

In the Tahoe headed home

As we were driving through Provo we saw this trailer full of horses with the NFR stock stickers, so I tried to take a picture and this is all I got

All the goody's I brought home

{M}oab

My family and I took trip to Moab. I took this picture of the famous arch, it  is one of my favorite pictures from the trip. This was the first vacation I had gone on since I got home from my mission and I had a blast. My family has always meant a lot to me. I was able to learn some valuable lessons this weekend. My Mother, My Granny, and myself all went down in the motor home. It was soooo fun. Its always good to see all the beauty that God makes
Us in the motor home headed home
 Day 1
We all went jeeping the first day we got there. When you have three jeeps, fifteen people, and all day to play, you end up with a whole lot of fun. We went on two different trails the first one was a really rough trail but it was fun to see how the jeeps can get over the rocks. It was really steep going up and done, we had a picnic on a huge rock for lunch. The second trail we found had huge puddles and more of a dirt road feel it was my favorite trail. We had a blast driving though the huge puddles of water and seeing how dirty we could get it, I think the most common saying that day was "Thank heavens its a rental". We were all racing and see who could be the leader, and I am proud to say the jeep I was in with my cousin Justin and his family and my other cousin Rashelle won the award for fastest and the dirtiest ha thank heavens that thing was a rental. That night we got home we all went to our favorite pizza place and all the girls headed out shopping and to get snow cones.
Ra and I grateful to be alive after the first trail

Sandi and I at lunch

Shae and I, she was acting like my puppy all day. We named her Bella  and she stayed on my lap all afternoon, she is one good puppy!

We went driving up a river, it was so fun!!!

On the road again

Day 2
We went hiking all day!! We went to the famous arch. We had a 80 something year old grandmother as our oldest of the group and a 7 month old as the youngest. After the arch we went to see some other sights, by the time we got home, we were all so tired...  But the coolest part of the day for me was the night hike. At ten o'clock we all decided  to go on a night hike so we  to the avenues trail. We all brought our flash lights so we could go frog hunting... We all jumped in the motor home, and headed out. It was fun to have these huge rocks hills on both sides of us and to look up and see the stars, it was so special to be as a family and jus talking and enjoying our time. This was my first time frog hunting you simply listen for the frogs to cry and then you go through all the puddles and find them not until the end of the hike did we find the frogs they were all swimming around and croaking. On the way home from the hike my Granny, my Aunt Joni and myself were all laying on the back bed and we started talking about how memories as a family is what is really important. My Grandma started talking about how we should never worry about wordily things but how we treat our family, she said "This is what really matters"... it was a memory I will never forget.
My first time seeing the arch

My Granny, who can out hike all of us
